Do I need to have an undergraduate background in sociology to apply to the Master of Arts degree program?

Having some undergraduate sociology course work is helpful but not required. Students with undergraduate degrees in other social sciences and other disciplines have done well in our program. If you have not taken undergraduate courses in research methods, statistics, and theory, you must take these courses during your first year of graduate study.
