Alliance of Black and Latinx Teachers

The Alliance of Black and Latinx Teachers (ABLT) club promotes the recruitment, training, and retention of black and Latinx educators. ABLT advocates for diverse literature and diverse teaching recruitment and practices that connect and educate black and Latinx students in their local and global communities. ABLT unites black and Latinx students across educational platforms in order to enrich their learning performance and encourage their membership and contribution to the field of education. Ball State Affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English

The Ball State affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English serves the University’s English language arts preservice teachers and in-service educators as they develop lasting professional relationships with one another and the National Council of Teachers of English. The organization also provides opportunities for Ball State students to pursue professional development, research, and creative endeavors in the field of English language arts. Association of Neuropsychology Students in Training

The Association of Neuropsychology Students in Training (ANST) is a local chapter of the American Psychological Association's (APA) Association of Neuropsychology Students in Training, which is the student organization for APA's Division 40: Clinical Neuropsychology. ANST provides a forum in which graduate students may discuss and disseminate information related to important issues in clinical neuropsychology such as training, practice, research, and career opportunities. College Mentors for Kids

College Mentors for Kids pairs children with college students, one-to-one. These children are placed, grade level, into buddy families that do a different activity each week. The little buddies learn about higher education, community service, culture and diversity, and economics. Learn more.

Creative Minds meets almost every month during the academic year to create preplanned crafts together. For only $40 for a year, you'll get all the supplies needed to create seven masterpieces. Meeting days vary. Learn more.

Delivering Educational Support to Kenya

Delivering Educational Support to Kenya (DESK) provides yearly educational support to students in need in Kenya. The educational support is mainly school supplies. The organization accomplishes this mission through various fundraising activities. Learn more.

Education in Action is an organization for all education majors (pre-K-12). You’ll participate in community events, supply education related resources, and have a lot of fun. The Partners in Literacy Council (PiL) cultivates creativity, promotes critical thinking, and creates lifelong readers and writers in order to provide professional development and immersive experience to Ball State students.
