Deadline: Application materials are evaluated twice yearly, in the spring and summer. All application materials must be received by the department by March 1 or June 15. If you plan to apply for the June 15th deadline, you must contact the department before applying. This is to ensure there are still spaces available.

The Rehabilitation Counseling program has a rolling enrollment. You may apply for any semester.  Applications to the rehabilitation track are evaluated as soon as they are completed.

You must submit separate application materials to the Graduate School and the Department of Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology and Counseling. The programs offered by the department are selective-admissions programs and require additional application materials.

Application materials may be submitted to both offices at the same time. The Graduate School must complete its admission process before the department may offer admission. Admission to the Graduate School does not guarantee admission into the program.

How to Apply to the Graduate School

Detailed information on how to apply to the Graduate School is available on their Web site.

Materials Required by the Department

International Candidates

Applicants from other countries and those who live in the United States but are not American citizens must submit separate application materials to the Office of International Admissions and the Department of Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology and Counseling.

How to Apply to the Office of International Admissions

International candidates should obtain an application from the Office of International Admissions. Applicants must complete all application materials required by the Office of International Admissions and submit these materials directly to the Office of International Admission. Applicants should allow sufficient time (two months) before the departmental deadlines of March 1 or June 15 for the Office of International Admissions to process the application and determine eligibility for admission. (If you plan to apply to the June 15th deadline, please contact the department before applying.  This is to insure there are still spaces available.)
