The American Psychological Association has accredited and nationally ranked our doctoral program in school psychology. The National Association of School Psychologists, and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education have fully accredited our PhD and specialist in education (EdS) degrees. Various stakeholders have been impressed with both our students and our research. We are first in the total number of graduates since 1990 in academic positions and fifth in total publications of current school psychology programs from 1970 through 1999. Those are just a few of the noteworthy facts about us.
Ball State strives to be a national model for learner-centered academic communities, and its approach to professional education is guided by a conceptual framework that spells out the vision in great detail.
