Life after Ball State

Most of our students are either headed for the classroom or working to expand and enhance their teaching skills. With one of our undergraduate degrees, you’ll be ready for licensure to teach at an elementary school or in an early childhood setting. Add a master’s degree from our department, and you’ll gain even more valuable skills in these areas or perhaps more specialized skills that will lead to a new job in reading or computer instruction, teaching at a middle school, educating gifted students, or serving children with autism. Your doctoral degree, may open the door to more responsibilities as an educational leader or perhaps a fulfilling university career making a mark on elementary education through research and educating the next generation of teachers.

In any case, your life after Ball State will always include Ball State. You can return in person or online for more advanced learning, and you’ll always be a valued part of the alumni organizations of Teachers College and of Ball State.
