Permission for Selected Courses

Permissions are no longer required for EDEL 200, EDEL 301, EDEL 350, EDEL 381, EDEL 455, EDRD 427 or EDRD 450.  If you have trouble registering for any of these courses, please contact your advisor.

SUMMER AND FALL 2013    EDRD 430 PERMISSIONS
Permission has a different meaning in the new BANNER system.  Please read carefully.
Permission is given to ALL students who meet the prerequisite of EDRD 400 with a C or better.

You may obtain permission even if enrolled in EDRD 400.  If you do not pass EDRD 400 with a C or better, you will be removed from EDRD 430.

Permission does not mean a spot is held for you.   Registration for the course is based on availability (section capacity) once your time ticket begins.  That means you could be given permission, but all seats could be filled.  In this case, you must watch for openings just as you would for any other course.

Permission does not override section capacity.

Procedure:

1.        Email edelperm@bsu.edu starting at 8:00 am on March 27, 2013

  Include:

a.        EDRD 430 Summer or EDRD 430 Fall in subject line

b.       NAME

c.        ID #

2.        You will receive an email confirmation.

3.        It is your responsibility to register as quickly as possible.

Permission will be issued for the class instead of a particular section.  You may enroll
in any section with openings when your time ticket begins.

PERMISSION FOR ALL OTHER COURSES ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH THOSE DEPARMENTS.
