Web Conference courses are "live" interactive courses that may be taken online over the computer or on campus. They are taught in a TV studio on Ball States campus and transmitted to the distance education audience vie the Indiana Backbone Internet System. To participate in a Web Conference course, you must be at your computer at the times the course is scheduled on campus. Enrollment limits are usually from 35 to 40 students.

Internet courses may consist of taped snippets from previously taught Web Conference courses. These courses are not scheduled for a precise time of day or day of the week and may be accessed at any time day or night. They have a limited enrollment of 20-25 students.
