Kathryn Fletcher received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology in 1995 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Following her graduate studies, Dr. Fletcher was a postdoctoral fellow and Research Assistant Professor in the Applied Developmental Program at the University of Miami from 1995 to 2000. Dr. Fletcher teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in child development. Her research interests include early literacy and language development, memory development, and cognitive developmental research with children with disabilities.
