Associate Professor of Curriculum
Terry Wiedmer is an Associate Professor of Curriculum. She received her Ed.D. in Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision; M.A.E. in Educational Administration; and B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Montana, Missoula, Montana. Dr. Wiedmer teaches graduate Educational Administration and Supervision courses via webcast, and the Internet. She serves as Upper Wabash Valley School Superintendents’ Council Executive Director. Her research interests include administrative licensure standards and practices, portfolio and authentic assessment strategies, professional development initiatives, integration of technology to enhance teaching and learning, teaching excellence, school safety practices, public relations, and current school leadership issues/practices. Terry formerly served as director of membership and public information for Phi Delta Kappa International. In the Missoula, Montana public schools, she served as an elementary principal, director of teaching technology, and thirteen years as a classroom teacher (grades 2, 4, 7, and 8).
