1. Our broadcasting program was recognized by media critic Leonard Mogel as one of the top eight broadcasting programs in the country.
2. Two Student Academy Awards.
3. Thirty-nine regional Emmy Awards have been won by Ball State University.  The vast majority of these wins for TCOM students.
4. Multiple winner, annually, from the Indiana Association of School Broadcaster.
5. Multiple winner, annually, from Indiana chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
6. Multiple winner, annually, from the Indiana Broadcasters Association.
7. Multiple winner from the annual College Sports Video Summit.
8. Multiple winner from the annual Broadcast Education Association national convention.
9. Official Selection for TCOM's annual summer HD movie immersion experience, "Free Wall," with the Indianapolis International Film Festival and the Heartland Film Festival.
