From the minute you walk in the door as a freshman, you’ll have access to the most current equipment available in the industry. For class assignments and your own projects, you can check out the same state-of-the-art lights, microphones, and cameras used by professionals. After you shoot your film, you can put the final touches on your production in our high-tech editing suites.
The equipment is all professional grade, not the type of gear you can grab off the shelf at an electronics store. We have two Sony 900 HD cameras—the same kind used by George Lucas and major movie studios—and the same Sony PD-150 camcorders used on the Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch and in the field by A&E and CNN.
