Before you are accepted into the major, we call you a “pre-TCOM” student. Before applying to become a telecommunications major, you must complete the pre-TCOM core of five courses with a grade of C (2.0) or better in each and have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 in the pre-TCOM core courses. You must also demonstrate competency in language usage, grammar, and computer skills.
