Biography:
As an actress, Eva has appeared in productions both regionally and in NYC. NYC productions include Seen/Unseen, a one-woman show which she wrote and recently performed at The Wild Project (co-directed by Michael Kimmel and Laura Wagner), Eileen in The Mercy Swing by Lane Bernes, directed by Richard Perez (Cherry Lane Theatre/NY Fringe Festival), Daphne in Kraken by Len Jenkin, Clytemnestra and Hera in Saving the Greeks...One Tragedy at a Time by Jason Pizzarello, Emma Darwin in Man Made written & directed by Susan Mosakowski, Chick in Crimes of the Heart, and numerous productions at La MaMa, E.T.C. including Jean Harlow in The Beard (written by Michael McClure and directed by Lawrence Sacharow). Eva has been a frequent participant in the development of new plays for theatres such as New York Theater Workshop, The Lark, Soho Rep, and New Dramatists. Favorite regional roles include As You Like It; All My Sons; and Philadelphia, Here I Come! TV and film appearances include Saturday Night Live and the independent films Cluster (dir. Jason Morris) and The Making Of... (dir. Peter Coston).

As a playwright, Eva’s writing has been produced at various theatres including Actors Theatre of Louisville, and she was an Edward F. Albee Foundation Fellow. Prior to joining BSU Department of Theatre and Dance, Eva was on the theatre faculty at Fordham’s Lincoln Center Campus in New York, where for twenty years, she taught acting, served as the theatre program administrator, and directed productions such as William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Moliére’s The Misanthrope, Vaclav Havel’s Largo Desolato, and Luigi Pirandello’s Six Characters in Search of An Author. During her time in New York, Eva also worked as a publicist for the Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre. She holds a B.A. degree from Hanover College, an M.F.A. degree in Acting from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory, and is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.
