Biography:
Greg Lund
is an Assistant Professor of Dance and Technical Director in Strother Theatre. He received his BS and BA degrees from Brigham Young University where he danced with the BYU International Folk Dancers and came to Ball State University to direct the International Folk Dance Company Banevolks. In the 1980’s the Banevolks toured Europe on three separate occasions, performing at folk festivals in Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Belgium, England and Ireland. He was a champion clogger, having placed high at State, National, and World Competitions. Greg currently teaches Dance History and World Dance forms, specializing in Eastern European Folk Dance and American Clogging. He has been on the staff of the Stockton (CA) Folk Dance Camp since 1980. He has been the President of the National Folk Organization and is currently serving as its Treasurer. He also serves an an academic advisor for the department.
