Biography
Vladimir Stadnik
was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and received his ballet training at the State Academy of Russian Ballet (Vaganova Academy). As a professional dancer, he became a soloist and toured throughout the Soviet Union, Western Europe and the U.S.A. Vladimir later studied dance pedagogy at the University of Culture, St. Petersburg. Still while continuing his career, he graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts from the Choreographic Department of the State Conservatory, Rimsky Korsakov. Vladimir Stadnik has enjoyed international success as a teacher/choreographer of ballet and other forms of dance in Switzerland, Finland, France and Italy and here in the United States where he was invited to work in 2004.

Since 2011 he is anĀ Assistant Professor at Ball State University. In the summer of 2012, Vladimir collaborated with the Indiana World Skating Academy to train international ice skating competitors in ballet.
