Formatting

Exams are currently written in InQsit, so there are some things to consider as you draft:

• There is no spell-check or grammar-check function, but you may (and should) use a dictionary or phrase translator if in doubt about a word's spelling.
• Paragraphing is indicated by pressing "Enter" to create a space between paragraphs. InQsit does not recognize the TAB command to indent. In fact, the TAB will take your cursor down to the “Submit” button, and if you enter that, your essay will be submitted—so don’t use the TAB button if you can help it!
• The final essay should be approximately 6+ well-developed paragraphs in length.
• You can use MLA, APA, or Chicago-style in-text citation to indicate how you use borrowed material. However, the citation style should remain consistent throughout the document. If you are a bit rusty about in-text citation, look at the next link on this section of the website which is devoted to citation
• Though you should cite borrowed material from the article in-text, you do not need to create an end citation of the article used.
• If you use material from other sources, indicate the source information in-text rather than in an end citation.  For example, "According to Peter Tragos in his essay 'Monster Masculinity,' . . .." 
• Your final essay will appear single-spaced on InQsit, but it would equal a 2-3 page double-spaced text.
