Foreign Language Education

The Foreign Language Education Program prepares candidates to teach one or more of the following languages: French, German, Japanese, Latin, and Spanish in middle school, junior high, and high school. In order to further enhance language abilities and develop cultural awareness, candidates participate in an intensive study program where the target language is spoken. The Foreign Language Education Program requires 120 credit hours and is located in the Department of Modern Languages and Classics. The introductory course for this program is FL 150. For more information, contact Christopher Luke, North Quad 178, 765-285-1361, or go to the Department of Modern Languages and Classics website.
