The Malawi Field Study is designed for Ball State students seeking to make a global impact through education and service. This powerful and unique experience offers BSU students the life changing opportunity to travel to the developing country of Malawi to teach the orphans of Mtendere Village. Students' paradigm on life can forever be shifted as they witness the daily life struggles and joys of orphans and their teachers in one of the world’s poorest countries. Additional highlights include sight seeing trips, safaris, and local shopping. The Malawi Field Study can earn elementary education majors between 3-12 credit hours during the summer semester.
