Tex Terry Collection

The Tex Terry collection documents the career of a B-Western movie star and stuntman. The collection consists of scripts for 60 Western movie and television productions that Tex Terry appeared in during the 1940s and 1950s, including television episodes of Gunsmoke, Death Valley Days, Have Gun Will Travel, Tales of Wells Fargo, Frontier Doctor, and the Brothers January, and movies such as The Oregon Trail, The Maverick Queen, Pack Train, Apache Rose, and The Plainsman and the Lady. Both shooting and dialogue scripts are in the collection. Finding aid available in Archives and Special Collections.
