Course Reserve Service

Any title in the Educational Resources Collections, as well as personal copies of print or nonprint materials, can be placed on course reserve to assure availability for class assignments. Reserve materials on 2 or 4 hour loan periods may be viewed in house. Call 765-285-5340 for assistance with reserves.

Permanent Reserves

The following materials are on reserve permanently: one copy of each of the Newbery and Caldecott award books, miniature children's books, pop-up and other toy books. Ask at the Educational Resources Collections circulation counter for assistance with these materials.

Holds

A hold may be placed on any title in the collection that circulates 7 days or more. Holds may be applied under two different circumstances: 1) an item is available and on the shelf, or 2) an item is charged to another user. If an item is on the shelf, you will be notified by e-mail when it's available, usually within 36 hours. If an item is charged to another user, when it is returned the person at the top of the hold list will be notified of the title's availability. In both situations the title will be held for the requestor for up to seven days. To place either type of hold, complete the Hold/Recall Request Form, ask at the Educational Resources Collections circulation counter for assistance, or call 765-285-5340. Holds do not apply to video and film materials. Please refer to the Video/Film Booking Service to book these materials in advance of use.

Fine Policy

Overdue, lost, and damaged materials are subject to the Library Fine and Cost Policy. For further information, call 765-285-5340.
