Exhibits

The GIS Research and Map Collection (GRMC) creates exhibits related to current news events and topics of interest. The special “Map of the Month” is a unique map included in the Collection that usually relates in significance to the month during which it is displayed.

Maps from the GRMC have also been featured at the Ball State University Indianapolis Center, the College of Architecture and Planning’s Ball State University Backyard display at the Indiana State Fair, the Focus the Nation global warming conference, the Rinker Center for International Programs’ International Festival and First Fridays program, College Mentors for Kids, and the Association of Lifelong Learners, the Muncie Public Library “Big Read” program, and other community programs.

Previous map exhibits can be viewed in the University Libraries' Cardinal Scholar institutional repository.

For more information, please contact Melissa Gentry in the GRMC at 765-285-1097 or email mgentry@bsu.edu.
