To make our digital assets more accessible, MADI must not only create accurate descriptions, but must also be certain they conform to local and international metadata standards. Through the Open Archives Initiative’s Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) Ball State assets may be discovered and shared through a wide variety of information systems and search engines.
