Ball State University students, faculty, and staff may print up to 500 black and white pages (one side of one sheet of paper) for free each academic session, using Libraries printers. This free allocation is not available to Ball State Campus Organizations. After reaching the 500 page limit, a $.05 per page charge is assessed, and will be charged through the Bursar's Office. Use your Ball State username and password to check your print balance online.
Printers within Bracken Library are located throughout the first floor and lower level. When collecting your print jobs, please remember to never leave your belonging unattended - even for a moment.
Wireless Laptop Printing
Students and faculty may print to several printers in Bracken Library, the Architecture Library, and the Science-Health Science Library, using Wireless Laptop Printing. No additional software is required to use this service, but users must have a valid Ball State username and password, and the service is available only to on-campus computers. Color Printing
Color printing is available at the University Libraries, for only $.25 per exposure.
Large Format Printing
The GIS Research and Map Collection, on the second floor of Bracken Library offers, access to a 42" large-format color plotter for large print jobs, and 36" widths are available as well. Use of the plotter is limited to Ball State ID holders, and faculty and staff can also charge their FOAPAL accounts for plotting with written permission from their Department Chair.
