The mathematics education major will prepare you to become licensed to teach mathematics in middle/junior high schools and high schools.
You’ll gain a comprehensive knowledge of mathematics principles and study subjects such as algebra, geometry, probability and statistics, calculus, and the history of mathematics. You’ll also take educational methods courses and complete a student teaching experience.
