Bracken Library, Ball State’s main library, is much more than books, articles, eJournals, databases, music, movies, fiction, images, course reserves, and newspapers. It’s also full of quiet, comfortable places to hit the books, grab lunch or a cup of coffee, or work collaboratively on group projects. And it’s home to one of Ball State’s most popular meeting places—the Forest Idyll statue, a.k.a. “the Naked Lady.”
Located at the center of campus, Bracken is now open as late as 3 a.m. so students have plenty of time to study for the big exam or research until the wee hours of the morning. If you can’t make it to the library, check out the online catalog and chat with a librarian if you have questions.
Along with their national reputations, many of our individual colleges have their own world-class collections. The Architecture Library and the Science-Health Science Library are particular standouts. And of course, many of their research and learning resources are available online.
