Academic Recognition Awards

If you are an out-of-state minority high school senior who has a  cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and have taken a college preparatory curriculum, you may qualify for one of these awards.

The award provides a waiver of the nonresident general fees, meaning you pay in-state tuition, and is renewable for a total of eight semesters of undergraduate coursework if a 2.0 cumulative grade point average is maintained. Recipients must enroll in on-campus classes as a full-time degree-seeking student.

Once you are admitted, the Office of Admissions will determine your eligibility based on your high school academic record.  Recipients will then be notified.
