Transfer applicants must meet the following requirements and application procedures:
- Have at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.
- Have completed secondary school, undertaking a university-preparatory curriculum.
- Complete the appropriate application for your enrollment term: spring or summer 2012 or fall 2012 and beyond.
- Submit an application fee of $40 U.S. (applications for admission will not processed without this payment).
- Submit official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score (Ball State’s code is 1051); not required, but accepted.
- Submit official academic records fro your last four years of secondary school and an official diploma or certificate demonstrating successful completion of secondary school.
- Submit official academic records from all universities attended in English and the native language of instruction.
- Provide, by sending through mail, current (within six months) official/original financial support documents (typically an official bank statement) from yourself, a relative, or sponsor demonstrating that sufficient funds are available to support your education at Ball State for a minimum of 12 months. Scanned or faxed financial documents will not be accepted.
- Provide complete course descriptions in English from all post-secondary or university-level course work at the time of application to facilitate the credit evaluation process. Without course descriptions you may not be awarded credit.
- Submit the Ball State Letter of Financial Support Form.
