To be considered for admission as a degree-seeking student who is pursuing a certificate or associate or bachelor’s degree through the School of Extended Education, you must fulfill these admission requirements:
1. Submit an online application.
2. Pay the nonrefundable $25 application fee with a major credit card.
3. Arrange for official transcripts from high school (or GED scores), as well as institutions you previously attend, to be mailed to (unless directed otherwise): Linda Parker, Ball State University, School of Extended Education, Muncie, IN 47306.
Guest student status is also available. If you are age 23 or younger, you must apply through Office of Undergraduate Admissions, unless you plan to pursue the associate of arts in general arts or the bachelor of general studies through the Independent Learning Program.
If you have never been admitted to the university or have not attended in more than two semesters, you will need to complete an off-campus admission application.
Note: Admission through the School of Extended Education is not admission to the main campus. Students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree and do not plan on pursuing a second undergraduate degree must complete a graduate admission application.
