The Ball State University Presidential Room and Board Award is awarded to students who receive a full or partial Ball State tuition-specific scholarship and also receive an external full tuition-specific scholarship (i.e. 21st Century Scholarship, Lilly Scholarship). The Ball State University Presidential Room and Board Award substitutes for the tuition-specific scholarship. It will pay up to $3,000 per academic year toward any university room and board charge (i.e. residence hall room and board, university apartment rent, and commuter meal plan). It cannot be applied to off-campus housing (exception: sorority house rent billed by the university). A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 must be maintained to receive this award up to a maximum of eight semesters.
