In the spirit of the university’s strategic plan, Ball State Dining is doing its part to make sure our campus is environmentally friendly. In fact, our efforts earned us an A in the 2009 Green Report Card from the Sustainable Endowments Institute.
We offer reusable insulated mugs and drink tumblers that can be refilled at a significant discount. We recycle coffee grounds and participate in the local Blue Bag recycling program for trash disposal. We purchase local produce with the goal of 20% of all produce eventually coming from local farms.
