Faculty and staff don’t have to go off campus for a chef-prepared lunch or dinner in a relaxing, restaurant-style setting. Save gas, money, and time by visiting The Retreat in Noyer Centre. At lunch, The Retreat is reserved for Ball State employees and their guests, offering an a la carte menu with optional wait service. Students* can eat lunch here if they are considered the guest of a professor or staff member.
For the same price you would pay at a local restaurant, you can choose from a variety of meats at the carving station, several different entrees and soups, custom salads, and assorted side dishes and desserts. Most meals cost between $4 and $7.
For dinner, The Retreat is an all-you-care-to-eat dining experience open to everyone.
Selections are rarely the same at The Retreat as our large rotating menu changes daily. Reservations for The Retreat are accepted, but not required. Reservations are accepted only during fall and spring semesters, as The Retreat is not open in the summer. Place an online reservation here.
* Please note that student guests at lunch cannot use their meal card equivalencies. However, they may pay with Dining Plus, Cardinal Cash, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.
