Ball State University is considering building a Greek Village near campus! The Greek Village would include sorority houses and potentially fraternity houses in the future. Ball State is working with the (Inter)National and Local sororities in developing a housing plan that meets the needs of current and future sorority members and ensures that they have a positive undergraduate Greek experience.
Students, advisors and alumnae have provided feedback on sorority housing through surveys and focus groups. Many questions were raised but the majority of feedback was in favor of moving forward with the project.
A team of students, university staff and sorority alumnae are working with campus architects to develop floor plans for the sorority houses. This will help determine the costs associated with a sorority house and would enable the sororities to make a decision about building sorority houses.
