Welcome from the NPHC President

AJ Burks, National Pan-Hellenic Council President
The Ball State University National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is a self-governing body that represents the Divine 9 historically African American fraternity and sorority member organizations.

Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, and Iota Phi Theta are the five fraternities. The four sororities consist of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Sigma Gamma Rho, and Zeta Phi Beta. Check out which fraternities and sororities are currently active at Ball State.

Each organization holds a Week of Events in both the fall and spring semester where you can learn more about a certain organization.

NPHC consists of eight executive council members and a voting representative from each fraternity or sorority. NPHC works closely with the Office of Student Life Greek staff.

NPHC's mission is to promote unanimity of thought and action as far as possible in the conduct of Greek letter collegiate fraternities and sororities and to consider problems of mutual interest to its member organizations.

The emphasis of the Ball State NPHC shall be to contribute to the political, spiritual, social, economic, and cultural life on the campus of Ball State University and the surrounding community through the presentation of programs and give aggressive support to the upward mobility of the students on the campus and the youth of the community while promoting brotherhood and sisterhood.

Welcome to the website of the National Pan-Hellenic Council at the Ball State University, and we invite you to explore and learn more about us.

If you have any questions regarding the NPHC community or want to learn more about us, please contact any officer or nphc@bsu.edu.
