Every January, chapter presidents and IFC, Panhellenic and NPHC executive board officers go on an overnight retreat away from Muncie where they can focus on building relationships and developing goals as a community.
The unique experience offered at the Leadership Summit provides leaders the opportunity to:
- appreciate the differences in others and develop relationships with people from other chapters
- begin networking with individuals from the Office of Student Life and develop a university support system
- become knowledgeable of upcoming changes and events within our community
- develop skills to communicate and collaborate more effectively with people different than themselves
- have an open forum where they can conversations about the strengths, weaknesses, and needs of our community
- leave encouraged, energized, and confident to face challenges ahead
