Governing Councils of Greek organizations at Ball State provide many different opportunities for students to become involved.
The
Interfraternity Council (IFC),
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and
Panhellenic Council (PHC) govern their member chapters, promote leadership, educational experiences, service, philanthropic, fraternal and social values for students at Ball State, and maintain cooperation between their member chapters, their respective international/national headquarters, alumni, the Muncie community and Ball State University.
The councils also take an active role in having crucial conversations about how to improve the Greek community and their respective council. From these conversations the councils coordinate and program
award winning educational events, recruitment and other Greek activities.
We encourage every Greek member to get involved and become an active participant!
All council delegation and general body meetings are open to members of the Greek community, all students of the Ball State community and the public. Panhellenic Council meetings occur weekly at 5 p.m. on Thursdays, Interfraternity Council meetings occur weekly at 5:30 p.m. on Thursdays and National Pan-Hellenic meetings occur biweekly at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. For more information about when and where council meetings occur please contact the president of each council.
