Moving from a highly structured high school environment to the freedoms of college can be a challenging adjustment for you. Fraternities and sororities assist in many facets:
- customized scholarship improvement programs
- faculty advisors (required for each chapter)
- networking through upperclassmen with knowledge of campus resources such as the library, tutors, computer labs, study lounges, and future courses you may enroll in
- scholarship incentive programs
- study partners
- test taking strategies
- time management workshops

In addition to Greek chapters providing you academic support, most of Greek organizations have minimum standards to join and to remain in good standing with an organization.
