Fraternity Scholarships

Many of the fraternities at Ball State offer scholarships to you. Most of the scholarships do not require you to join a fraternity at Ball State. The fraternities provide scholarships to incoming freshman males based upon academics, involvement in high school extra-curricular activities or events, and the amount of community service performed before arriving at Ball State.

The information provided in the chapter scholarship sites below and in the Fraternity Scholarship Announcement are a resource to you, the incoming male student:

Alpha Tau Omega - The Distinct Advantage Scholarship
Sigma Alpha Epsilon - The True Gentleman Scholarship
Sigma Chi - The Don Hester Outstanding Leadership Scholarship
Sigma Chi - The James K. Gross Memorial Scholarship
Sigma Phi Epsilon - The Balanced Man Scholarship
Theta Chi - The Charles Ray Excellence Scholarship
Theta Chi - The Helping Hand Scholarship

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) also offers The Presidential Scholarship to any high school seniors who enrolled as freshmen at Ball State University. The scholarship applicants and recipients are not obligated to join any fraternity at Ball State. The North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) also offers Under One Roof scholarships to high school seniors who enrolled to become a freshman. We hope you'll consider applying for one or all of these awards.

The Fraternity Scholarship Announcement was mailed to incoming students in June.
