Ball State Support for Greek Life

The Office of Student Life is comprised of more than just Greek life—staff in the office also oversee the areas of leadership development, Student Voluntary Services, the Leadership Studies Minor and multicultural organization advising.

There are eight staff members who are completely dedicated towards working with fraternities and sororities. This is pretty distinctive for a campus.

The staff advocate on behalf of the Greek community, provide services and training, plan educational programs and retreats, advise members, steer the Greek Strategic Plan, communicate with national headquarters staff and volunteers and local advisors.

We encourage the Greek community to strive to fulfill the vision and mission and uphold the five Greek community core values: P.R.I.D.E. (personal growth, relationships, individuality, dedication and ethical behavior), educate chapter members about basic expectations of Greek organizations at Ball State and supervise the development of graduate assistants.

Students are welcome to stop by the Office of Student Life for information, to borrow leadership-training resources, or to make an appointment with staff for specific advisement. Students and advisors can also make an appointment by calling 765-285-2621.
