Welcome to Ball State University. We want to make your visits to the health center as pleasant as possible if you do need our services.
If you have a chronic condition for which you need regular medical care, we would encourage you to maintain follow-up with your usual physician. If that is not practical, we are happy to consult with you about what services we can provide to you, and whether your situation would be better served by seeking the services of a specialist in the community.
The main clinic in the health center sees most patients on a walk-in basis without an appointment. If you have an urgent problem we encourage you to come in at any time we are open. If you have a problem which is not so urgent, and your schedule allows, we encourage you to try to come in before 11 a.m. and/or on a Wednesday or Thursday. Those times tend to be less crowded.
Our goal is to do all we can to help you succeed at Ball State. Best of luck in school, and please come see us if you need to.
