The Health Fee funds the operations of the Health Center.   For detailed information about the current fee schedule per semester, contact the bursar's office at 285-1643.

Students taking 7 or more credit hours on campus will be charged the Health Fee automatically.  The Health Fee pays for you to be evaluated by a doctor or nurse practitioner at both the Health Center and the Women's Center and to receive a diagnosis and a plan of care.  Evaluation by our physical therapist and treatment is also included.  The cost of prescriptions and laboratory tests is not covered by the Health Fee.  Please bring your insurance card or a copy of your card with you to your visit for these additional costs.  If you do not have health insurance, please let us know during your visit.

Students who are taking courses only online or students taking only 1-6 credit hours on campus  are not automatically charged the Health Fee.  In order to receive services, you will be charged the Health Fee at the time of your visit.

Beginning Monday, January 8, 2018, the Health Center is now able to accept Credit/Debit cards for the cost of services provided at the Health Center that are not covered by the Health Fee.  We will no longer be accepting cash payments, but will still be able to place charges on a student's bursar account if requested.  Insurance can only be used for laboratory testing sent to IUHealth Laboratory or at the BSU pharmacy for medications.
