To submit a complete application, you must do the following:
1. Complete and submit the on-line application during our live application process. (The online application will be available December 1, 2013.) Note: Candidates for the assistant residence hall director and resident manager positions must submit a complete application packet before January 15, 2014, to be considered for interviews.
2. Send a paper or electronic copy of your resume, cover letter, transcripts, and contact information of three professional references to:

3. Applications will be reviewed in January and will continue until all positions are filled. Interviews for residence hall director positions will only be conducted at the NASPA Placement Exchange. Interviews for assistant residence hall director and resident manager positions will be conducted at the OPE Placement Exchange and the Ball State Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education Visit and Interview Day.
4. If you are a candidate for the assistant residence hall director or resident manager positions, you must also apply for admission to the Ball State Graduate School AND your particular program of study, i.e., student affairs administration in education.
