Your student likely will become part a
living-learning community and meet fellow students with shared interests. Our set of programs for first-year students has consistently been recognized by

We strive to make our housing and dining packages a good value. When it comes to food, your student will have
numerous choices in where, when, and what to eat. And we provide lots of
services, including
computer labs and free Internet access,
free cable TV, a service that tells them when
laundry facilities are available at select locations,
fitness rooms, and much more. We take great care to provide your student with a
safe and secure living environment.
We invite you to subscribe to
Transitions, an e-mail newsletter for freshmen and their families. In addition, the Division of Student Affairs will send you the
Parent Advisory newsletter to keep you informed of resources for students, university initiatives, and exciting news on campus.
