SURF Living-Learning Community

The SURF (Students Uniting to Remain Free) Living-Learning Community is a community that promotes and helps students develop a healthy and balanced lifestyle by focusing on the various aspects of a student's life: academic, social, physical, emotional, spiritual, environmental, and career. 

Classes:

  • ENG 103 - English Composition 1, 3 credit hours
  • HSC 160 - Fundamentals of Human Health, 3 credit hours
  • MATH 125 - Mathematics and Its Applications, 3 credit hours
  • NREM 101 - Environment and Society, 3 credit hours

Programming: Students living in this community may participate in Zumba every Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Studebaker West Multipurpose Room and on monthly service trips to Muncie's Animal Rescue Fund (ARF).

Location: SURF is located in Palmer/Davidson Halls of the Studebaker West Complex.
