DeHority Complex
The newly renovated DeHority Complex opened in fall 2009, home to the Honors Living-Learning Community. Honors students living here enjoy top-notch housing in a four-story building for approximately 550 men and women.
DeHority's features include an exhibition hall and space for meetings and presentations, a new computer lab, fitness room, lounge space, advanced laundry facility, and a music practice room. In addition to all of the other services included in your room and board contract, you'll have stackable furniture allowing you to easily customize your room, a data port for free Internet access, and wireless connectivity throughout the building. Room types in DeHority include single, double, and suite-style options for students.
And DeHority is in a convenient location, close to the Ball Honors House—the home of the Honors College—as well as Bracken Library and several academic buildings.
Note: At Ball State, we expect new honors freshmen to live in an honors residence hall and assignment to this complex takes priority over all other student housing preferences. Honors students may choose roommates who are not in the honors program and these students may live in the honors residence halls only if there is available space.
