Smoking
Ball State University is a smoke-free campus. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and outdoor areas (including the residence halls or residence hall complexes) except the
designated locations. Some of these locations are outside residence hall complexes.
Students who violate this policy by smoking in the residence halls or non-designated areas will be subject to judicial process and a smoking citation. Students who are found responsible of violating the policy will be placed on disciplinary probation.
