Getting up early, finding the best place to study, and going to class when no one is around to tell you to go can be difficult. There will be days when it's raining or snowing, mornings when you just want to sleep in, or nights when you stayed up so late that it's really hard to get to that 8 a.m. class.
One of the most significant factors in academic success is simply going to class. Skipping class is the fastest way to get behind and, more important, to not get the grades you want. So here are a couple of tips to help you get to class regularly:
- Get to know the students living in your residence hall who are taking the same class as you, and make a pact to walk together.
- Go to bed early and get a good night's sleep. There will be nights when you stay up later than you should, and that's OK as long as you don't make it a habit or let it interfere with your academics.
