Park and Rafting
Your adventure will begin with a meet and greet at the Outdoor Pursuits Climbing Wall, followed by climbing and group activities. After a night in a Ball State residence hall, you will head to North Carolina for three nights of in a beautiful cabin, prepare meals around the campfire, and explore the natural wonders of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Participants will day hike a short portion of the Appalachian Train to Charlies Bunion, known for its panoramic views. The week will conclude an introductory whitewater rafting trip down one of America's most popular whitewater runs - the Nantahala River.
To participate in this adventure, complete the online registration form and either pay online or mail your payment to the Office of Outdoor Pursuits, RC 201. Once you register and your payment is received, more information will follow. Payment and registration must be submitted by July 12, 2013.
