Society of Physics Students (SPS)

The Society of Physics Students is very active. Annually, we participate in campus events such as the Homecoming Parade and College Bowl. We also have won national awards for our outreach program to local middle and high school, encouraging those students we visit to take science courses and major in the sciences. Fundraising activities include bake sales and t-shirts. We do a lot of social activities as a club, including field trips to Argonne National Lab and tobogganing at Pokagon State Park. We have weekly meetings. The club is also a great way to socialize with other people in the physics courses, which helps for studying and homework!
