BGSA creates and maintains a voice for the African-American graduate student population at Ball State University. BGSA provides for the common interests of African-American graduate students, promotes activities that encourage the academic and professional development of African-American graduate and undergraduate students, and works in conjunction with the Graduate School in dealing with matters of interest, including but not limited to university policies and procedures, diversity issues, and curriculum development.
