Rotaract is the college division of the international service organization known as Rotary. The motto of Rotary International is "Service above Self", and Rotaract lives up to those words. Rotaract focuses heavily on community service, primarily in the Muncie community, but we also engage in projects of an international scope as well on occasion. This coming year, we look forward to working with a Rotaract club from South Korea. We also work with the local Rotary Clubs on some of their projects. One of the local clubs sponsors a part of the Cardinal Greenway, and about twice a month, we help them to clean it up. This Fall, though, we are looking into building a playground next to the Rotary Club's section of the trail. So if you enjoy service and the satisfaction that comes from serving, then you will feel right at home with Rotaract, and make many new friends that share your thoughts and ideas.
